The Amadeo was designed in 2006, to celebrate the 250th anniversary of RIEDEL. It was named after the Austrian composer Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, whose 250th birthday was being celebrated that same year. This hand-blown decanter forms like a lyre and pours like a dream. We simply pour the wine into the wider opening of the decanter and fill it into the glass through its slim neck. The Amadeo decanter, which can be used easily and pleasantly, reminds us that functional objects can be works of art. This is RIEDEL's classic motto.
