The Amadeo was designed in 2006, for the celebration of RIEDEL's 250th anniversary. It got its name after the Austrian composer Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, whose 250th birthday was also being celebrated in that year. This hand-blown decanter is shaped like a lyre and pours like a dream. The wine is simply poured into the wider opening of the decanter and filled into the glass through its slim neck. Easily and pleasantly used, the Amadeo decanter reminds us that functional objects can be works of art. This is the classic motto of RIEDEL.
