The Cartridge tequila is made from the blue agave plant, which has to be grown for 6-7 years to be suitable, at the peak of its sugar content, for the making of the fine drink. The agave plant is cut by hand, the carefully selected, sweetest pieces are softened in ovens for 36 hours, then sliced into small pieces, and the sugary juice is squeezed out, which is then fermented and distilled. The beautiful Patrón estate, built in the 1700s, gives place to a significant part of the production process, so the workers labour almost in monument-like conditions day by day. A special drink deserves a special bottle. The Patrón tequila is filled into traditional, expertise-requiring, handmade bottles, and individually numbered. So by the time a bottle leaves the estate, nearly 60 hands have touched it. The Patrón Reposado is placed in oak cask for half a year so the clean, freshness of the Silver is complemented by more powerful oaky effects.
Aroma: Citrusy, fresh and very lively agave aroma balances the slightly oaky aromas.
Flavour: Velvety silky sweetness characterises it, but alongside it the citrusness and the oaky notes keep the flavours in harmony.
Finish: The finish is in harmony with the flavour experience. Long, sweetish and slightly floral notes.
