The Japanese national drink sake is, contrary to common belief, not a rice pálinka, but rather a rice wine, since it is made by fermentation. The Choya sake is a 15% alcohol-content specialty, which in its aroma and flavour nevertheless resembles a softer white wine, which we can consume in summer chilled, and in winter in the well-known way, warmed, served in a small ceramic cup.
