Gran Duque De Alba Oro Brandy (40% 0,7L)
Jerez is the mythical citadel of brandy-making. The situation is even more exciting when a distillate trickling in a golden colour gains its final aroma character in a Palo Cortado cask. So a majestic drink was born, the Gran Duque De Alba Oro: it is worth tasting for everyone who is receptive to special brandy flavours. The velvety brandy was made from fine grape distillate. The secret of the final maturation of the aroma character lies in the oak-cask ageing. In Spain they only call a distillate a brandy if it is made in the catchment area of Brandy de Jerez, and its maker has a Solera Gran Reserve certificate. The Gran Dueue d'Alba Oro follows the production process of Duque d'Alba, however it is aged much longer in casks containing ex-Palo Cortado wine. Generally it rests for 20 long years in the cask, so that its aromas can fully unfold through the Criaderas and Solera system. To the cask ageing is owed the mahogany and ebony radiance shade of the distillate.
