The Otborny is the heir to the traditions of the classic first Armenian brandy, the Fine-Champagne-Otborny made in 1902. This national treasure is made with special care: using exclusively grape varieties native to Armenia, it is made in traditional French distillers, then aged in oak barrels. The colour of the Ararat Otborny 7-year brandy is intense gold, amber colour. Its aroma is fresh and fruit-flavoured. Its bouquet's delicate acidity is made complete by fresh orange peel and oak tones. Its long-lasting flavour is full and intense. The fruit-flavoured notes are brought into balance by the tones of lemon, caramel and dried fig. The aftertaste is bitter-almond toned.
