Making Aperol Spritz: Making the perfect Aperol Spritz is as easy as 3-2-1. That is, 3 parts sparkling wine, 2 parts Aperol and 1 part soda. Measured out this means 90 ml Prosecco, 60 ml Aperol and 30 ml soda. If you don't want to measure, just pour, then watch the colours.
Aperol is made according to the original recipe of the Barbieri house using orange, rhubarb, and cinchona. Due to its low alcohol content it is a very popular Italian bitter liqueur. In its homeland it is a much-loved aperitif. With soda, fruit juice, sparkling wine it is an excellent long drink base. And the Aperol Spritz made using Aperol can be an excellent refresher on a hot summer day.
